The Business Intelligence Consulting team is part of Henkel Integrated Business Solutions and is responsible for designing and implementing global standard BI solutions with more than 7.500 users, 250TB of data and 42 global applications.

We are looking for you, Data Integration Consultant, to take a key role in the definition, implementation and execution of a next-generation BI strategy to further improve and digitalize decision making processes at Henkel.

What we offer

  • Define the technical data foundation of Henkel’s digital transformation
  • Define and implement the Henkel wide data integration strategy for the central data foundation covering all internal & external, structured & unstructured data requirements
  • Implement Henkel BI data model with focus on integrating data from operational systems and other data sources up to reporting and analytical applications
  • Implement an enterprise wide valid business logic and a data quality concept
  • Focus on performance, flexibility, security and scalability
  • Define and implement the concept for data processing: data extraction, integration and storage
  • Pro-actively identify opportunities for further improving the data foundation
  • Steer external partners during the implementation
  • Ensure smooth transition to maintenance teams
  • Work in a global, multinational BI consulting team in a dynamic and challenging environment; interaction with agile project teams as well as technical and business stakeholders

Who we are looking for

  • University degree in Computer Sciences/Informatics or comparable
  • Experience in the area of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence
  • Knowledge of modern data warehousing concepts, data modelling and data management
  • Experience in relational data bases (MS SQL, Teradata, Oracle, DB2) and good knowledge of SQL
  • Programming skills in SQL, MDX, C#/Java/VB or VBA
  • Experience in Cloud technology and Big Data – Hadoop, Java, Python, Spark – beneficial
  • Knowledge of BI tools e.g. Analysis Server, Cognos, Oracle BI, SAP BW beneficial
  • Practical experience in IT project management as well as interest to work in an agile, international project environment
  • Experience in data integration of internal and external data sources
  • Knowledge of business processes and SAP modules beneficial
  • Excellent language skills in English, German beneficial
  • Capability to convince with own ideas based on excellent interaction and communication skills in an international environment
