Sales Account Manager

YOUR ROLE

  • Responsible for driving all demands and be the first point of contact of all functions within the customer
  • Responsible for profitable sales development of his/her local sales area for packaging adhesives, mainly for food and beverage industry in Portugal and Spain and coordination of some international Key Accounts on local level.
  • Analyse and develop customer potential and competition activities
  • Lead & initiate contacts at plants, production, maintenance, quality, purchasing, logistics, marketing where applicable, management level
  • Maintain influential network at the customer and within Henkel on all key levels & dimensions
  • Coordinate and steer information & reporting flow between the sales area and internal functions (Supply Chain, Front Office, TCS, PD, SBU Management)
  • Identify and implement targeted projects, as well as pricing policy
  • Identify key/unmet customer needs and translate into innovation opportunities
  • Ensure prospection to gain market share

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master’s degree in business administration and/or Technical / scientific background
  • Business and customer oriented, independent, with minimum 5-8 years’ experience in field sales or project management position
  • Self-starter, experience in managing key accounts (national or international)
  • An experience in the industrial adhesives is a plus
  • Regular national/international travel required
  • Experience with technical product solutions for packaging industry are highly appreciated
  • Requires a valid driver’s license
  • Up-to-date computer skills including business typing skills, strong literacy in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power Point, CRM
  • Contact management software
  • Outstanding communication capabilities, fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English
  • Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
